When Princess Bianca threatens to rob her stepmother, evil Queen Grimhilde, of the title "fairest of them all," the queen tries to have Bianca eliminated. Bianca manages to escape and finds refuge with seven dwarves, who live in the magic forest.

Ella lives under the yoke of her stepfamily. When she receives a royal invitation to a ball, where the prince may look for a future bride, Ella wishes to go. Her fairy godmother helps her out by magically creating a carriage and a beautiful gown.
