I am Raidy, wandering this continent of Else far and wide as an adventurer. I can freely bend the power of thunder to my will, so people have taken to calling me the "Lightning Warrior". Why am I standing here in front of this tower, you ask? The cause lies in the village of Saad that I visited recently. I got there to find it in decay, deserted and transformed almost completely into a ghost town...
Apparently it became that way due to the monsters living in this tower. They'd been stealing away all of the young maidens from the village, and none of the men who went to rescue them ever returned... a harsh and terrible tale. Being who I am I couldn't hear that story and stand by idle, so now I find myself here, facing the tower...
In this corridor 3D RPG from the first person, as Raydi you have to win against monsters (perfectly drawn mutants - lesbians (the artist Kazuma Muramasa and its yuriyny team)) and to release beautiful girls of Saad.

FAQ
Hints & Tips
I won't be outlining this game's controls or basic gameplay since THEY ARE FREAKING OBVIOUS. Here's a list of hints & tips:
- This game is a dungeon crawler. This means you'll be spending a decent amount of time defeating enemies and gaining experience points for the sake of doing so.
- Potions can be very limited if you don't play your cards right. Grinding in easier areas is a great way of replenishing your reserves since enemies occasionally drop different kinds of potions and you won't have to worry about spending any in the process.
- Potions that restore your MP aren't as easy to come by, Thunder Slash should only be used against Bosses and very strong enemies.
- Thunder Slash will ALWAYS hit and do damage that ignores your enemies' defense. The more MP you have, the stronger your Thunder Slash will be.
However, Thunder Slash will always cost half your current MP (rounded down if it's an odd number).
- Defending is uh...useless. Just don't, unless you want to lose on purpose.
- Running away can prove useful if you encounter an enemy you'd rather not fight. It may take a few tries, but you'll eventually run away. Keep in mind that after successfully running away, Raidy will move one step back. If you encounter an enemy that hasn't noticed you, you may run away instantly.
- Some bosses and enemies (exactly half of both) have "special attacks".
These do a FIXED amount of damage and will ALWAYS hit. Needless to say, you shouldn't spend too much time in areas where such enemies exist since they
will slowly eat away at your potion reserves.
- Physical attacks can sometimes become criticals. Criticals inflict double damage and always hit.
- Each type of enemy rewards you with a FIXED amount of experience points.
However, Raidy will always gain a lesser amount. The actual amount of EXP gained is calculated like this: "Enemy EXP - Raidy's level = EXP gained".
For instance, if you defeat an enemy with a 100 EXP reward and you are at level 10, you will gain 90 (100-10) experience points. EXP rewards from Bosses are treated likewise. If your level is equal to or greater than the enemy's EXP reward, you gain 1 EXP point.
- The "Suggested Level" notes are there to achieve a balanced playthrough, not too easy, not too hard.
- In order to unlock all scenes, you should lose at least once against each Boss. Considering that this is an H-game, I bet that a complete CG album is what interests you most. Losing on purpose and then loading your game will do the job.
Walkthrough
1st Floor
(Suggested Level: 1+)
Navigation:
=============
Easy and straightforward, unless you've never played a first-person dungeoncrawler before. This will be your chance to grasp the basics.
Enemies:
==========
Enemies here use only physical attacks. Once you gain a level, battles willbecome almost too easy. The three types of enemies you'll be facing here are:
------------------------------------
Wererat HP: 25 EXP: 21
------------------------------------
Uses weak physical attacks that can inflict poison.
------------------------------------
Werebat HP: 30 EXP: 32
------------------------------------
Uses physical attacks, nothing special.
------------------------------------
Weretiger HP: 35 EXP: 43
------------------------------------
Uses strong physical attacks. Probably the only decent opponent to be found onthis floor, her criticals can be deadly at the very beginning.
Suggested sequence of events:
===============================
1. Find the Old Key and unlock the door leading to the Broad Sword.
2. Find the CAPTIVE GIRLS and find out how to defeat the Boss.
3. Find the 1st Floor Map.
4. Find & defeat the Boss.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Werewolf Fonfon HP: 50 EXP : 125 Suggested Level: 4+
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
A straightforward battle, Fonfon uses only physical attacks, although quite powerful ones. Frankly, there isn't much you can do except hope that she misses often and that she doesn't perform criticals. Use your Thunder Slash a couple of times and finish her with physical attacks. Due to your low HP and her high damage output this battle may require some luck.
2nd Floor
(Suggested Level: 6+)
Navigation:
=============
Ok, this is noticeably harder than the previous floor. On this floor you will come across two new concepts, fake walls and teleporters. Fake walls are, well, walls that are actually doors, allowing you to pass through them. These walls look exactly like normal walls so... good thing I'm providing a map.
Teleporters are invisible too, and once you step on one, you are instantly teleported to another (non-random) area on the floor. There is only one teleporter here so don't worry about it, focus on the fake walls.
Enemies:
==========
It gets somewhat harder now, since this is your first encounter with an enemy that can use a special attack. Apart from that, this floor shouldn't really trouble you. The three types of enemies you'll be facing here are:
------------------------------------
Skeleton HP: 50 EXP: 46
------------------------------------
Uses physical attacks, nothing special.
------------------------------------
Chimera HP: 60 EXP: 57
------------------------------------
Her physical attacks can inflict poison. She also has a special attack,
'Breath', which does 21 damage.
------------------------------------
Minotaur HP: 70 EXP: 68
------------------------------------
Uses strong physical attacks, can be a bit dangerous in the beginning.
Suggested sequence of events:
===============================
1. Find the Key Ring.
2. Find the CAPTIVE GIRLS and find out how to defeat the Boss.
3. Find the CHARMED MAN and watch the scene.
4. Find the 2nd Floor Map.

Boss:
=======
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorceress HP: 100 EXP : 250 Suggested Level: 9+
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorceress can use a special attack, 'Spell', which does 30 damage. Her physical attacks, unless critical, will always do less damage than 'Spell' so it's pretty easy to plan ahead and keep yourself adequately healed. Your Thunder Slash should be significantly damaging by now so use a couple on her and then finish her with physical attacks.
3rd Floor
(Suggested Level: 11+)
Navigation:
=============
Gah, teleporter Hell. Obviously, one of the hardest floors to figure out unless you are drawing the map on a piece of paper as you play. Anyway, with so many
teleporters leading to different places it is very easy to skip a chest or get totally confused since some rooms look exactly the same. Therefore, you should keep your eyes on the X,Y coordinates after each teleport. If you don't want to bother with all this, just use the Map provided below. I have marked the teleporters as A,B,C and so on so all you have to do is use them in the correct order (A-B-A-C-D-E). Teleporters F, G and H are used for backtracking. Finally, there is one new concept in this floor, chests that are actually poison traps.
Enemies:
==========
Woah! All three enemy types here have decent HP and special attacks, so this floor can be bad news. Battles here, especially in the beginning, will either cost you your life, or your reserves of potions. Even after you've leveled up considerably, you'll still be slowly depleting your potion reserves, so in case you find yourself in a bind, visit the previous floor to farm some potions, that is all. The three types of enemies you'll be facing here are:
-------------------------------------
Ghost HP: 100 EXP: 71
-------------------------------------
Her physical attacks are pretty weak but she has a somewhat annoying special attack. Her 'Cold Hand' does 11 MP damage.
-------------------------------------
Cerberus HP: 120 EXP: 82
-------------------------------------
Uses physical attacks. Her 'Breath' does 36 damage.
-------------------------------------
Lamia HP: 140 EXP: 93
-------------------------------------
Uses strong physical attacks that can inflict poison. Her 'Spell' does 39 damage.
Suggested sequence of events:
===============================
1. Find the CHARMED MAN, watch the scene and take the Jail Key.
2. Use the Jail Key inside the "EMPTY" CELL to get the Morion Earrings.
3. Find the Bastard Sword. Damage is great but you may not want to equip it right away since it tends to miss a lot until you reach level 14.
4. Find the 3rd Floor Map.
5. Find & defeat the Boss.

Boss:
=======
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Demon Tiss HP: 200 EXP : 375 Suggested Level: 14+
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're probably getting the hang of it but Tiss is not to be underestimated. She's pretty much like Sorceress but her high HP and 'Spell', which does 45 damage, can make this battle quite hard. Actually, all you need to care about is having enough potions to keep up with her and using them at the right time.
How you fight her is up to you but the now typical anti-Boss strategy of "softening" with Thunder Slashes and "finishing" with physical attacks is probably the way to go.
4th Floor
(Suggested Level: 16+)
Navigation:
=============
Haha, and you thought the previous floor was complicated. This one is absolutely hilarious, not to mention impossible without drawing the map on a piece of paper or accidentaly finding the 4th Floor Map. Three new concepts are introduced here, fake doors, two-way teleporters and auto-turns. Fake doors are the exact opposite of fake walls, meaning that they are doors that are actually walls and can't be opened. Two-way teleporters always appear in pairs and when you step on one, you are transported to the other, and vice versa. Finally, auto-turns will force you to perform a 90 degree rotation to your right.
Figuring out how to manipulate them to your advantage is the key to finding your way out of this floor. That, I'll leave to your creativity.
Enemies:
==========
Phew, this floor is less "tense" than the previous one but it has its own way of not making it easy for you. Enemies here have high HP and battles can take quite a bit, so expect to see criticals. Expect this to become MUCH easier once you get the Plate Armor. The three types of enemies you'll be facing here are:
-------------------------------------
Salamander HP: 185 EXP: 96
-------------------------------------
Her physical attacks are very weak but her special attack makes her the most
damaging enemy this floor has to offer. Her 'Breath' does 48 damage.
--------------------------------------
Undine HP: 215 EXP: 117
--------------------------------------
Just physical attacks, has enough HP to last for a while, nothing special.
--------------------------------------
Sylph HP: 245 EXP: 138
--------------------------------------
Just physical attacks but she can last long enough to make them count. Until
you get the Plate Armor, it may be a good idea to either run away, or use
Thunder Slashes to take out most of her HP.
Suggested sequence of events:
===============================
1. Find the CAPTIVE GIRLS and find out how to defeat the Boss.
2. Find the 4th Floor Map.
3. Find the Plate Armor.
4. Find the Golden Cross and unlock the door.
5. Find & defeat the Boss.
6. Find the CHARMED MAN and watch the scene.

Boss:
=======
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dark Elf Foless HP: 400 EXP : 500 Suggested Level: 20+
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Foless is genuinely hard. Her HP is just too much for your physical attacks to handle and, unless you want to be using health potions like crazy, you should be using Thunder Slashes on her until you deplete your MP. If she survives that, you should fight the rest of the battle with physical attacks. Her 'Spell' does 60 damage, which is quite a lot, and to be frank, her main source of damage, since her physical attacks can hardly compare to that.
5th Floor
(Suggested Level: 21+)
Navigation:
=============
This floor can be either very hard or very easy when it comes to finding your way out of it. A new kind of auto-turn is introduced on this floor, these will force a rotation of 180 degrees when stepped on, meaning that you'll be practically heading back the way you came after stepping on one. Finally, four pedestals can be found on this floor. They are related to unlocking a door and only one of them gets the job done. For more details, check the provided map.
Enemies:
==========
Much like the previous floor, enemies here are mostly physical attack-oriented, therefore it becomes a bit easier on your potions once you gain a few levels.
Once you get your hands on the Mithril Sword (the game's best weapon) you should immediately equip it and watch as this floor turns into a cakewalk. The three types of enemies you'll be facing here are:
--------------------------------------
Amazoness HP: 305 EXP: 141
--------------------------------------
For the sake of proper English, G-Collections translated this one into Amazon.
Her physical attacks can inflict poison, other than that, generic.
--------------------------------------
Grappler HP: 345 EXP: 162
--------------------------------------
Just physical attacks, once again, generic.
--------------------------------------
Dullahan HP: 385 EXP: 183
--------------------------------------
For some reason I'd rather not know, G-Collections translated this one's name into Medusa. She's nothing to write home about, but she can use an annoying special attack called 'Glare', which does 23 MP damage.
Suggested sequence of events:
===============================
1. Find the CAPTIVE GIRLS and find out how to defeat the Boss.
2. Find the 5th Floor Map.
3. Find the Angel Statue.
4. Backtrack and place the Angel Statue on the correct Pedestal to unlock the door.
5. Find the Mithril Sword.
6. Find & defeat the Boss.
Map:

[6] : Mithril Sword
Boss:
=======
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Knight Errant HP: 800 EXP : 625 Suggested Level: 23+
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Woah, lots of HP. However, she only uses physical attacks and is kind of a let down. Even with the Mithril Sword, this battle can be quite long so you'll probably be using some of your Heavy Health Potions. Actually, the only way for you to lose this battle is to either run out of potions or receive an unexpected critical hit. That is all.
6th Floor
(Suggested Level: 26+)
Navigation:
=============
At last, the last floor. Different graphics, different music, a welcome change in atmosphere. Navigating here isn't that hard, at least compared to the previous floors. This floor consists of narrow corridors and is riddled with fake walls but it's pretty linear so you won't be getting stuck. Moreover, you can find the 6th Floor Map rather quickly, which simplifies things quite a bit.
However, in order to unlock the door leading to the Boss, you must solve a ridiculously hard riddle. At some point, you will find three switches facing the four cardinal directions (except north, where the locked door is), each with three buttons, coloured red, yellow and blue. It is quite obvious that you have to press the right button in each of them in order to unlock the door. In the same room, you can find a hint written on the wall, the hint is "MECWYS is the key...". You're probably trying to find a connection between the hint and the buttons as you're reading this but I assure you, it's not worth it. "MECWYS" stands for "Magenta East Cyan West Yellow South". Now, whether the CMYK colour model is common knowledge in Japan or the game designers are just sadistic bastards, we'll probably never know. In case you haven't figured it out yet, the answer is "red east, blue west, yellow south", though you can easily try every possible combination (six total) until the door unlocks.
Enemies:
==========
Ouch, this certainly is the final floor. Enemies here can use the best versions of 'Breath', 'Spell' and the ever annoying 'Glare', which means that no matter what level you are, you will find your HP and MP draining quicker than they should. At least, once you get the Mithril Armor, physical attacks will hardly be able to damage you. Note that this floor can be cleared at a significantly lower level (22+), but you'll be spending too many potions that way. The three types of enemies you'll be facing here are:
--------------------------------------
Dragon HP: 460 EXP: 186
--------------------------------------
Surprisingly low HP compared to the rest, but her 'Breath' does 78 damage.
Defeat her as quickly as possible.
--------------------------------------
Death HP: 610 EXP: 207
--------------------------------------
Can either be a blessing or a curse. Her 'Glare' does 27 MP damage but she has no other way of hurting you except physical attacks. Easily the least damaging of the bunch.
--------------------------------------
Sphinx HP: 660 EXP: 228
--------------------------------------
Easily the strongest enemy in the game, she has high HP and her 'Spell' does 84 damage. Admittedly, fighting her is just not worth it, since you'll be practically throwing away your potions trying to stay alive. In some cases, it might be better to run away.
Suggested sequence of events:
===============================
1. Find the ORGY and watch the hilarious scene. Oooooi!
(NOTE: G-Collections apparently missed a line here).
2. Find the 6th Floor Map.
3. Find the Mithril Armor.
4. Solve the riddle to unlock the door leading to the Boss.
5. Find & defeat the Boss.

Boss:
=======
------------------------------------------------------------
Sex Demon Cubust HP: 1600 Suggested Level: 26+
------------------------------------------------------------
Finally, the last Boss. He has tons of HP but thankfully, no special attacks. However, his physical attacks are VERY strong and will rarely miss. Since you don't have to worry about spending too many potions, you are free to go all out on him.
Once you have defeated him, a scene will trigger and you'll have to make a choice. The "bad" one will result to a Game Over while the "good" one, the game's ending.
Congratulations, you have successfully finished Lightning Warrior Raidy. After finishing the game once, there is another ending you can unlock, see the Alternative Ending section for more info.
Alternative Ending
If you've lost at least once against each boss and watched every scene during your "trip" through the tower, you should only have one scene and one graphic
missing from the game's Extras. To unlock these two, you need to watch the alternative ending. To do so, you should simply reload your game after finishing it and fight Cubust once again. You can defeat him in any way you see fit but this time, you have to choose the "bad" option after he is defeated.
Once you do, the alternative ending will trigger.

It gets somewhat harder now, since this is your first encounter with an enemy that can use a special attack. Apart from that, this floor shouldn't really trouble you. The three types of enemies you'll be facing here are:
------------------------------------
Skeleton HP: 50 EXP: 46
------------------------------------
Uses physical attacks, nothing special.
------------------------------------
Chimera HP: 60 EXP: 57
------------------------------------
Her physical attacks can inflict poison. She also has a special attack,
'Breath', which does 21 damage.
------------------------------------
Minotaur HP: 70 EXP: 68
------------------------------------
Uses strong physical attacks, can be a bit dangerous in the beginning.
Suggested sequence of events:
===============================
1. Find the Key Ring.
2. Find the CAPTIVE GIRLS and find out how to defeat the Boss.
3. Find the CHARMED MAN and watch the scene.
4. Find the 2nd Floor Map.
5. Unlock the door leading to the Chain Armor.
6. Find & defeat the Boss.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorceress HP: 100 EXP : 250 Suggested Level: 9+
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorceress can use a special attack, 'Spell', which does 30 damage. Her physical attacks, unless critical, will always do less damage than 'Spell' so it's pretty easy to plan ahead and keep yourself adequately healed. Your Thunder Slash should be significantly damaging by now so use a couple on her and then finish her with physical attacks.
3rd Floor
(Suggested Level: 11+)
Navigation:
=============
Enemies:
==========
Woah! All three enemy types here have decent HP and special attacks, so this floor can be bad news. Battles here, especially in the beginning, will either cost you your life, or your reserves of potions. Even after you've leveled up considerably, you'll still be slowly depleting your potion reserves, so in case you find yourself in a bind, visit the previous floor to farm some potions, that is all. The three types of enemies you'll be facing here are:
-------------------------------------
Ghost HP: 100 EXP: 71
-------------------------------------
Her physical attacks are pretty weak but she has a somewhat annoying special attack. Her 'Cold Hand' does 11 MP damage.
-------------------------------------
Cerberus HP: 120 EXP: 82
-------------------------------------
Uses physical attacks. Her 'Breath' does 36 damage.
-------------------------------------
Lamia HP: 140 EXP: 93
-------------------------------------
Uses strong physical attacks that can inflict poison. Her 'Spell' does 39 damage.
Suggested sequence of events:
===============================

Navigation:
=============
Enemies:
==========
===============================

Boss:
=======
Navigation:
=============
Enemies:
==========
===============================
Map:

180 : Auto-turn, you instantly perform a 180 degree turn.

Boss:
=======
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Knight Errant HP: 800 EXP : 625 Suggested Level: 23+
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Woah, lots of HP. However, she only uses physical attacks and is kind of a let down. Even with the Mithril Sword, this battle can be quite long so you'll probably be using some of your Heavy Health Potions. Actually, the only way for you to lose this battle is to either run out of potions or receive an unexpected critical hit. That is all.
6th Floor
(Suggested Level: 26+)
Navigation:
=============
Enemies:
==========
===============================

Boss:
=======
