Description: Sanguine Rose is an erotic visual novel set in a fantasy medieval world. You play as Roman, a mercenary tasked with the capture and delivery of the enemy's High General,
a woman named Carmen Valentine.
Sanguine Rose begins with Roman and his fellow mercenaries trapped in the snowy village Whitewood with their recently abducted prisoner: High General Carmen Valentine. While Roman and his company deliberate on their next course of action, Carmen is planning to use every means at her disposal to escape.
Not only is Carmen a skilled soldier, but also a terrifyingly charismatic hedonist. Upon waking captured by your party she will immediately attempt to escape by playing head games with Roman and the other mercenaries. Roman, meanwhile, will respond almost entirely to player direction, with a wide array of choices available to make. Will you attempt to seduce Carmen, or will you succumb to her will? Can you keep her from escaping while she turns your team against you, or you against them?
You're not alone on your mission. Assisting you are three other mercenaries all from different walks of life and with different skill sets. There's Markus, a smooth talking rogue who makes a living off of trading information and finding buyers for ill gotten goods; Glasha, the full blooded orc who fights almost as well as she drinks; and Crow, the dutiful half blood orc who acts as your guide while you're in Skagen.

3.1.0 is, for all intents and purposes, the finished version of Sanguine Rose. Well, it's probably as far as we're taking the public builds. It contains all of the main events of the story. Every route has an ending. The ending included in this build, which was missing from the last one, is pretty tricky to find, so we will be releasing a walkthrough soon, but I'm confident you'll be able to find it anyway (here's a hint for free, lay low at the start).

3.0.2 is the first public release of day 3. It contains all the endings for Sanguine Rose (except for one but it's pretty hard to get anyway) and ties up the main plot for most of the routes through the game. It's a little light on the porn, since there was a lot to wrap up, but some of the endings have a nice little teaser of what happens after the main events of the game. There's three ending galleries with a total of 9 variations in this build, so if you're a completionist and want to unlock every gallery item then there's lots to work with. Good luck finding it all!

Carmen's sprite has had a small makeover.
Several animation changes: The Handjob animation from the Night watch scene has been replaced with static images (it never looked as smooth as we would like, and we're working on alternatives), the Crow Whoring animations have had several small artefacts and flaws removed. The dining scene blowjob animations are mostly unchanged in game but appear in the gallery as static images.
Crow's sprite has had its eye colour adjusted.
Music is higher quality audio, some sound effects (wind blowing) have been removed while we experiment with alternatives.
Main Menu screen replaced with a placeholder.
End of Game credits moved to Main Menu.
Some minor dialogue changes, most noticeably during the Crow Whoring Scene when Crow is asked to undress. The player now removes each item of clothing by clicking them individually, with certain dialogue being triggered by specific removal orders.
Several transition changes due to the differences between Flash and Renpy.

Day One:
Meet Carmen: This scene happens in every route.
Listen to Carmen's Stories: Choose to stay in the room after Meeting Carmen, or return for a shift at some point during the day. Carmen will tell two different stories based upon what you ask her, and each story has separate artwork.
Spy on Crow and Carmen: If Crow watches Carmen while Glasha and Markus are in town, Roman will have the option to investigate laughter coming from the cellar. If you choose to investigate you will see the Crow Corruption Scene. You must choose to gather supplies from town at the start of the game, and then at the end of Meeting Carmen let Glasha go to town instead of Crow. Then, ask Glasha to send Crow down and keep watch.
Work the Night Shift: Similar to the above, choose to gather supplies from town, but when Glasha asks to go to town say no. Then, tell her that if she swaps shifts with you right now then you'll let her go to town after. This results in Roman watching Carmen at night.
Crow Must Sneak Out: This scene is unlocked if you choose to gather supplies from town but don't swap shifts with Glasha. You will face a choice at the start of the scene and each route has very different artwork.
Feed Carmen: To reach this scene, choose to lay low at the start of the game. At the end of the day you will take food down to Carmen. You can tell her to eat on her knees or you can help her onto a barrel. Both routes have different artwork.
Day Two:
Be Teased by Crow: When you reach the scene to Feed Carmen, let Carmen sit down on a barrel. The next morning you'll be woken up by Crow.
Swap Shifts with Crow: Reach the above scene and Be Teased by Crow. When she asks about Carmen, say you find her fascinating. Crow will then ask to swap shifts. Agree and you'll unlock this scene.
Argue with Carmen: Work the Night Shift, this scene follows on from there.
Negotiate With Carmen: When you go for your shift with Carmen in Day 2 and you haven't worked the night shift or swapped shifts with Crow on the morning, Carmen will ask you to let her negotiate for her release. If you agree, this scene follows soon after. There is a slight variation in this scene (one gallery item) that only unlocks if you Feed Carmen on her knees.
Send Markus to Tavern: Follow the same steps as Negotiating with Carmen after choosing to gather supplies from town at the start of the game. Whether you agree to negotiate with Carmen or not, you'll have the option to play a bonus POV scene with Markus and Glasha.
Send Markus to Woods: Same as above, but you have to choose to lay low at the start of the game and gather supplies from the woods.
Send Crow to Tavern: Crow must sneak out on this route, but you don't have to follow her, then tell Carmen you want Crow to whore herself out, and agree to Negotiate with Carmen. At the end of the day, Crow will ask if she can visit the tavern.
Tying up Crow and Make Love to Crow: Choose to gather supplies from Whitewood at the start of the game, then don't swap shifts with Glasha. When Carmen is talking about what to do with Crow in Day 2, don't send her out to whore. You should get both scenes.
