On a different note. The response I got for the post Dana game prologue were pretty positive. I'm sharing it now with everyone, so that all suggestions and objections are noted and addressed, before I start work on it in earnest. Please note that it's a prologue. Just introducing people to the story, and some of the main characters. And that it's an alpha, so it's not finished. There's quite a bit of polish left to do. The way I'm thinking is that this will replace Dana once it's finished, with IR becoming my co-main project. If that makes any sense. Lots of people seem to like IR, so I'll try to give it more attention. But all this comes after Dana is finished.
Hi, this is a progress update about Alexandra.
Well, with Easter coming up, I haven't been able to get a great deal of work done. You guys know how it is. Family obligations, last minute work etc...
But I can say that the renders for the story mission are almost done.
About 90 of them so far.Hope to finish them up by Monday.
And the 2 new locations of the planned 4, are finished also.
That will mean that about 2/3 of the renders I have planned will be finished.
Meaning that going forward, it will be mostly coding.
Hope to be able to write a progress update on Monday telling you that the main mission is done. And that will mean that we're half way there in terms of the patch.
The main obstacle after that will be the inventory system. For which I've barely started work.
So, to go back to my list:
1) New GUI (done)
2) Combat system (done)
3) Inventory system
4) Adding a "morale meter" and assorted elements
5) 4 new locations and assorted activities (50% done)
6) First side mission 7) First story mission ( almost done :p)
8) Redo the trainer girls into sexy versions. Like I said, originally I didn't plan on them being something the MC might be interested in. (done)
