The game is an exploration-based adventure game.

You freely move around the house where you live with the three sisters, searching for H-events (there's an event search function).

Completing H-events increases your intimacy with the characters and also advances the main story.

As you progress through the chapters, you'll be able to go outside, and events with sub-characters other than the three sisters will occur.

The game is primarily controlled with the mouse, but you can also use the keyboard to advance text during events.
