Game Synopsis:
Steeped in myth and memory, you play as Iraṇṭil Mutalāvatu — an immortal, once feared across continents, now living in a quiet exile. For as long as existence has stirred, you have moved within it—doing unspeakable things, shaping your legend with blood and fear. Now, the hunger has hollowed. Your desires have dulled. Weariness has taken hold.
Once, you shared eternity with an equal, raising two children, and overseeing The Hidden — Progeny that were seemingly destined to echo your myth. But time shattered you. Pulled you apart, piece by piece, until even your name felt distant to you. As did your family. As did your progeny. So, you abandoned them all. Leaving them to wither beneath the burden of your memory, or to grow in the hollows created by your absence. You left behind only memories. Memories of a monster. Now, your name is scarcely spoken above a whispered warning, and the shadows are all that hold the weight of your unending presence.
Every broken relationship is a mirror, every choice a declaration: Are you the monster they remember—the one that the rest of the world has forgotten—or are you something else now?
Gameplay and Themes:
The First Beings centers on player choice, moral exploration, and complex family dynamics. As Iraṇṭil Mutalāvatu, you must navigate the fractured bonds of your immortal lineage. Feared by your children, your equal, and your creations, you are faced with a choice: continue being the monstrous figure, Iraṇṭil Mutalāvatu, the destroyer who shaped their fear—or attempt something new. Can an ancient terror truly redefine itself, or are you doomed to repeat the cycle that made you a legend?
Branching Narrative: Your decisions reshape the world, influence your estranged family/progeny, and ultimately determine your legend.
Fear/Love System: A layered emotional framework that reflects not just what you do, but who you choose to become in the eyes of those around you.
Lore Discovery: Discover the history of The Hidden—your secret lineage, uncover the beliefs of those shaped by your legacy, and revisit the bonds you once severed.
Brutality or Restraint: Struggle against the instincts that once defined you, or surrender to them completely. Every encounter is a test—will you rein in the monster and seek connection, or embrace the beast they believe you to be?
The First Beings contains graphic violence, nudity, and depictions of sexual acts. If you are uncomfortable with these, other mature themes, or are under the age of 18, I strongly suggest that you do not play this game.
