Durandal is a small country with a history of advanced magical technology.

Lefro, a half-demon, half-human girl, is invited by the mayor as a renowned alchemist to collect certain magic books.

These magic books are from an isolated world called "Another World Tale"... a virtual space where you can enter the story and role-play as one of the characters.

Among them, there are seven special books called the "Books of Deadly Sins," and whoever manages to obtain all seven will make a contract with Calfanose, the great demon of books who rules over all things, and gain omnipotent powers.

However, Lefro's true identity is not just an accomplice hired by the mayor, and in fact she is not even an alchemist.

Hidden away is the fact that she is half-demon and has been persecuted; she is a rebel who has come to collect the "Books of Deadly Sins" in order to recapture her mother, who was once kidnapped by humans, and to rule over and take revenge on them.
