Alex is 18 years old, and a scholarship from the prestigious Van der Meer University has opened his doors to the world of student life. He's going to study at a university in another country. His Aunt Nicole lives there. Her husband, Joseph, is a relative of Alex's dad. Joseph disappeared into the maze of his international business ventures three years ago and has not been seen since.
