It is an "open-world" role playing life-sim which lets the player experience the fictional world of Cave Party from different angles by giving an option to customize your character's origin. Your journey will be a unique one, and your character will change (both mentally and physically) depending on the situations you've been through.
My game is very inspired by other h-game titles such as Captivity (more of a graphical-perspective inspiration) and Degrees of Lewdity (mechanics, sandbox), so you should definitely check these out when you have time to.
As of right now (09-14-2022) the game is in a very early stage of development, but progress is being made rapidly, and players are getting new version of the game each month, which you can see in our discord. Just keep in mind that Cave Party is just getting started
v0.0.4 release:
Added:
New location, tavern-street. Will have a name later on. Currently features a tavern and a dump hole. Populated by NPCs that are non-interactable as of rn.
Session cache. Saves your equipment between levels and all the item positions and states. NOT a save-load system yet, but same technique.
Trash. Clients leave empty bottles/mugs after themselves. Currently doesn't affect gameplay, but better to throw them out.
New light source, braziers. They are mostly placed in the streets to light up the paths and warm the homeless.
New item-interaction system. You can now pick up EVERY ITEM in the game, move it to some other place, drop it on the ground, place on tables, and put into containers.
Containers! They store up to 32 items depending on the container size. An example - trash bin at the entrance of the tavern.
Options menu.
Cowgirl pose for male MC x female NPC. Female clients can now ask you for sexual services as well.
Repositioned character creation menu a bit to give it more space.
Fixed:
Coins are always located at the surface of the tables now.
Fixed some game-crashing bugs. # Redrew stone walls.
Tavern owner will no longer visit you during the night.
Clients are going to be already seated now if you've entered tavern/waken up in it after 8 AM.
Clients will no longer immediately ask for another drink after they finished their previous one.
Fixed laggy mouse. It will no longer get stuck with prompts after you moved it away from the item, and is now properly colored based on being in range with an object.
Other small bug-fixes.
