Luis Garcia Gallo, was published under the pseudonym Coq. The most part of the career, I worked for the French press, mainly in the Paris-Press newspaper and weekly Jours of France. I was born in Thoreau. Coq studied arts in Bilbao, and became the political artist in Spain with the memorable work of" El Generalísimo" in 1937. He moved to France at the end of the 40th years. I created comic drawings and comics for the French newspapers and magazines. Special popularity came to it after its comic book of "Mam' of zelle Souris". Actively I worked in the press to the middle of the 80th years.
